the Iowa Cactus

It has taken 4 years, but finally the cactus have bloomed! I was against Daryl moving them from his former home. My thought was that it was a bad idea to plant something that needs a dry climate and I thought they would be hard to keep looking nice because the weeds would grow up around them, not to mention the spines on them. It survived and is blooming and looking pretty nice. I think the flowers are beautiful!

Those are beautiful! Do you have to bring them in for the winter?

No, they stay out all winter. That's kind of good, since they would be hard to handle. :)
