After the Flood

Yes, I'm still alive. It's been an interesting summer. I'm kind of feeling really pessimistic about the flood recovery and how long it will take to get this city back to a normal state. I liked living here most of the time. It is kind of boring, but we seemed to find enough to do to keep us busy. We are lucky that our house and work wasn't effected by the flood. And I am thankful about that. It could be a lot worse, but it really sucks living here and I kind of hate it. This city grinds it's teeth at any progress and I'm sure there will be a lot of pain involved in any changes that are made. I hope it will be better after everything gets moving again. I'm just not feeling to optimistic about it.
